About us

We are a family run business based in Lincolnshire. With over 30 years' experience across our team we can talk you through any aspect of your traditional timber framed project.

All our frames are built using sustainably sourced timbers, and held together with traditional joints and pegs. You will find no glue in our frames!

Whether you are looking for a porch to brighten up the front of your home, an extension to an existing property, or a full timber frame for a new build or conversion, we can help. From bridges, to summer houses, and log stores to carports you name it we have done it all.

All our frames are constructed in our workshop in Lincolnshire. We then bring the frame in a kit form, and build it up on site. This minimises the disruption to your home.

Pre construction Design

Whether you have full architectural plans, or nothing but a dream, we can work with you to create the perfect design.

Building the frame

Once we have settled on the design we order the timbers. We are currently working on a 6-8 week lead time so please ensure you give us plenty of notice if you have a specific deadline. Once the timber is delivered we get the full frame constructed at our workshops.

On site construction

Once constructed in the workshop we come and build the frame up on site.

To give you a concept of time, we can spend 4 weeks manufacturing a garden room in our workshop, and have the main frame up in a day on site.

Surrounding trades

From groundworks to plastering, chances are your project will require further trades than just the timber frame. If it is a service we do not offer, we can recommend someone from our strategic supply chain, or work with your own choice of tradespeople.

Our Sustainability Guarantee

The beauty of traditional frames is that they utilise natural materials, and any off cuts can be recycled. All of our timber is procured from sustainable sources, ensuring trees are being replanted in line with what is cut down. Our offcuts have been used to make chopping boards, bookshelves, candle holders, or just good plain firewood. Our shavings go to the local village as horse bedding.

In addition to this to ensure we are doing our bit for the planet, all the electricity used in our workshop is from renewable sources, and we have committed to planting a tree on our own farm for every £50k we turn over as a business.
