Lincolnshire Garden Room

We designed, manufactured and constructed this lovely oak garden room for our client in North East Lincolnshire to create a beautiful kitchen extension to the back of her house.

This design was chosen specifically to work within the client’s desire to amplify the beautiful surrounding woodland views.

A masonry wall allowed for more space for kitchen units as well as privacy to the drive side of the property, whilst a small glazed rebate links the oak frame into the masonry element on the extension, offering a slice of views and a wrap around sense of natural light.

Oak patio doors lead to an existing patio area, whilst strategic planting alongside the outside of the frame brings the outside in, to fully immerse the new kitchen into the beautiful surroundings.

Air dried oak braces offer both structural support and character, whilst direct glazing enables the green oak frame to move whilst ageing without any detriment to the glazing.

The entire frame was constructed in our workshop in Lincolnshire and taken to site in a kit form, enabling a quick erection and minimal disruption to the client.

We now look forward to completing a second orangery extension to the front of this property in due course.
